Do I need a license to perform Body Sculpting?

Most states do not require a state license. However, in states where master estheticians are licensed, such as Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Virginia, and Washington DC, ultrasonic skin therapy and other non-invasive procedures can only be performed by master estheticians and in most cases under a health care professional. In Florida, performing radio frequency and cavitation requires a “license to touch”.  In most other states, ANYONE, including Nurses, Physician Assistants, Estheticians, Medical Assistants, or anyone who has been trained by an accredited company or that provides the equipment, can perform the procedure.
